L'Esprit du Lac 2024 ("The Spirit of the Lake") is a premium dry rosé wine from the Ktima Kir-Yianni estate in Greece. It is crafted from 100% Xinomavro grapes sourced from old vines in the Amyndeon region, specifically the Kali Riza vineyard located at an altitude of 600 meters.
Description
Appearance: A delicate, pale salmon color with light orange hues, styled after Provence-style rosés.
Aromas: Elegant notes of rose petals, strawberry, cherry, and white-fleshed peach, complemented by hints of tomato leaves and subtle spices like cinnamon.
Palate: Refreshing and crisp with medium body and vibrant acidity. It features a juicy mouthfeel with a lingering fruity aftertaste and a slight touch of tannins.
