"Elia Vidiano" (750ml) from Karavitakis Vineyards is a premium, dry white wine from Chania, Crete, which highlights the top expression of the native Cretan variety Vidiano.

Description

Origin: Produced from a single-vineyard (specific vineyard) of great age in Pontikiana, Chania, at an altitude of 640 meters.

Vinification & Aging: Part of the wine ferments and matures for at least 6 months in French oak barrels from the Vosgia forests. Its production is extremely limited (indicatively approximately 1,450 bottles per harvest).

Aromatic Profile: Complex nose with intense aromas of ripe apricot, peach, bergamot and grapefruit, which are combined with subtle notes of vanilla, butter, honey, toast and tobacco.

Taste: In the mouth it has a full to medium body, a fatty/buttery texture and a characteristic crisp acidity that gives it balance, along with mineral hints.

Alcohol: Usually ranges around 13%
