The 2014 Château Lafite Rothschild is a highly praised Premier Cru Classé (First Growth) from Pauillac. The 2014 vintage in Bordeaux is often referred to as a "miracle vintage" for the Left Bank—a cool, damp summer was rescued by an exceptionally warm, sunny Indian summer spanning September and October. This allowed the Cabernet Sauvignon to ripen slowly and perfectly, yielding a classically proportioned, incredibly precise Lafite.
