Description
Unlike the cereals traditionally used as a base for gin, the Ugni Blanc grape spirit, softer, fuller-bodied and with a distinctive aromatic character, is the ideal canvas on which the vine blossom will develop its refined complexity. In a second phase, a unique combination of nine aromatic herbs and fruits selected for their purity and aromatic character, from various regions of the world, are steeped and distilled successively, in small batches, into the grape spirit: ginger, licorice, green cardamom, cassia, coriander, juniper berries, myrtle, nutmeg and lime. Finally, the vine flowers, the Ugni Blanc grape distillate and the herbal extracts are "married" in the ideal proportions through a final distillation in copper discontinuous distillation stills.
