Togouchi Beer Cask Finish is a testament to the creativity and craftsmanship of Chugoku Jozo Distillery. Named after the town of Togouchi, where the whisky is distilled and finally matured in an old abandoned railway tunnel under the streets of Hiroshima near Mount Osorakan. A sweet and oily blended whisky that has finished its aging in casks that originally contained rum from Martinique and were then used to mature IPA beer in France. This process has imparted aromas of honey, vanilla, hops and baked apples that flood the nose and palate.
